Charrette Nights at Sea Grove Village

2nd & 4th Thursdays | Community-Led Design on the Village Green

Twice a month, the Village Green opens up as a collaborative workshop space where ideas take shape and community input drives the vision forward.

Charrette Nights are interactive planning sessions that invite residents, designers, planners, and anyone who cares about the future of Sea Grove to gather, sketch, discuss, and contribute in real time. These are not presentations—they’re conversations. Structured, creative, and open-ended.

It’s a chance to participate in building something lasting—and to enjoy an evening outdoors with live music, local food trucks, and meaningful connection.

What Is a Charrette?

A charrette is a collaborative design process rooted in listening, dialogue, and iteration. It brings together people from different backgrounds to work through ideas and challenges, align goals, and shape spaces with purpose. At Sea Grove, charrettes are an essential part of our approach: building not just for the community, but with it.

Upcoming Themes

Meet the Neighbors
A session focused on connection and identity—who lives here, who’s moving here, and how we create a village culture that reflects real people and shared values.

Retail Therapy
An open discussion about the commercial core of Sea Grove. What kind of shops and services belong here? What supports daily life and adds real value?

Why It Matters

Sea Grove was founded on the belief that community should be shaped by the people who live in it. Charrette Nights give space for that process—where local insight meets intentional planning. These evenings are part gathering, part working session, and part reminder that development can be collaborative, creative, and rooted in shared values.

What to Expect:

  • Hands-on design boards, maps, and ideation tables

  • Opportunities to give feedback and help shape outcomes

  • A laid-back atmosphere that feels more like a block party than a boardroom

Be Heard. Be Seen. Belong.

Charrette Nights are proof that development doesn’t have to happen to a community—it can happen with it.
Let’s build a village that reflects the best of us, together.
